India meets the Netherlands India meets The Netherlands is the international conference that toke place on the 5th of june 2014, welcoming the students of the Apeeje School of Art , India. This conference was about creating pioneers and the relationship between the two schools. Together with fellow students Nikos ten Hoedt and Robbert Lopik, under guidence of Renate Boere, we had the chance to create en integrate the Identity India meets The Netherlands. For the visual identity we wanted to unite the two schools through using both flags and by incorporating a commen craft used in India: weaving. In the visuals and video you'll see how through weaving the images come together. We used this method for different media's like animation for the presentations during the conference but also the posters, website, flyers ,bags, and any other decoration of the building throughout the school.
