Together with four blind children (9-11 years), Visio school, Grave) I’ve worked on a toolkit that allows blind children to work independently. The purpose is to make tactile sculptures by means of the materials in the toolkit. These exercises train the fine motor skills and increase the sensory sensitivity of blind children. It also contributes to their creativity. The children of the Visio school contributed by means of participation in the user tests to find out how the toolkit can be adjusted to the specific wishes and needs of the users. Think of use, experience and choice of materials.
